This creature is called a Wildra:

Wildras can live about anywhere but prefer vast forests. Very few can be tamed for they are highly aggresive. They are about the lengh of a crocodile with the height of a house cat. When threatened they can use their highly sharp fangs to bite and tear at prediators. They can lash their tails, and with amazing strengh can knock a human off their feet with one blow. Unknown to most species the Wildra's tail is it's most powerful weapon.
